 I don't have to tell you that skyrocketing costs of petroleum products have made it pretty challenging to be a small pro and custom builder. From polyethylene foam and Mylar drum heads to fuel surcharges for shells and hardware shipping,  building Spacemuffins has become a lot more expensive.

However, through it all, Spacemuffins still cost less then the #1 selling mesh head alternative...and we’re a real Drum Set!

 

So, I’ll continue to build electric drums without compromise and I promise to always try to keep Boom Theory products one of the best values in the drum industry.

 

Micro Bop

 

Don't let the size fool you.  Micro Bop's delivers all the ergonomics of a big kit with the same motor memory aspects of my larger sets. A favorite among my home studio customers with tight space restrictions.

Micro Bop kits are 4x8/10 & 12” rack toms with a 4x12” dual zone snare and a 10x16” Bass.

Bop Dlx

 

This  is the second most popular electric set I build.

Bop Dlx kits are 8x10 & 12” rack toms, 14x14” free standing floor tom a 3.5x13” dual zone, chrome steel snare  and a 14x18" Bass. 

The basic 5 pc is a PVC wrap with all chrome hardware.

 

 Prices for this configuration start at $2189

 

 

Classics

 

This is the most popular e-set I build and is a favorite among my church, studio and pro customers.

Typical configurations are 14 or 16 x 22” bass 9 x 10 &12” rack toms, 14x15” free standing floor tom and a 3.5 x 13” dual zone, chrome steel snare.

 The basic 5 pc is a PVC wrap with all chrome hardware.

 

Prices for this configuration start at  $2499

 

 

 

Prices depend on the available options you choose and of course, my ever changing mood.

These prices are for drums only! Racks and stands are not included.

 

Sparkle finishes, powder coated lugs and hardware and bass mounted tom hardware (standard on Classic's only) all produce additional cost.

 

The internal wiring option is available on all Spacemuffin Series and cost an additional $690.00 which includes a custom snake

with up to 10 pins.

 

Color selection is limited to stock on hand and special order wraps or finishes can add up to a 10 week delay in delivery.  I offer two natural, water based finishes and only the Red Mahogany is available year round.

 

I can pretty much do any wrap you’ve ever seen, but under no circumstances will I ever, EVER, work with a Gloss Black PVC wrap again! I mean, never say never, but you’d have to offer me more money than I can imagine (and I can imagine quite a bit of money) to get me to work with Gloss Black again!

 

 

 As always, shipping and handling are extra and will depend on weight and destination. Spacemuffins carry a unconditional 1 year warranty to be free of any fault or defect. Repair or replacement is our option and all shipping charges are the customers responsibility.
