This set started life as part of the Tiger Stripe 4 pc that sold in May.

The 14x24” BD & 14x16” Fltm are salvaged shells that have been dowel filled and sanded to maintain the shell integrity and then rewrapped and retro fit.

The 12.5x14” Fltm , 6.5x12” Rktm and 4x14” Bridge Deck Snare are all ‘fall” shells (shells left over from other projects) built new and incorporated into this kit.
 

The Bass and toms are finished in Flint Gray wrap and feature all Billet aluminum lugs (and brackets on the 14” Fltm) in anodized black. The hoops and hardware are also finished in Nickel Blk Chrome.

The snare is finished the same “Nightmare in Vegas” wrap that I used for Chuck Biscuits set I built for his tour w/Social Distortion (Wish I had more!)

I wont trash good Maple and love restoring and retrofitting salvaged shells sets. 
They have a unique depth and character of tone that is only found in seasoned and manipulated shells (and you vintage guys know exactly what I’m talking about)

This kit sounds AMAZING!

So, if you don’t mind that fact that some of the shells have been cut, filled and reworked and want to own a $4000 set for less than you’d pay for a 24" Bass, these are your drums!
